ABOUT

Martha has been partnering with brands, tastemakers and retailers in the fields of industrial design, interiors, fashion accessories, and merchandise styling since receiving her BFA in Industrial Design from RISD in 2001. She has honed a holistic and flexible approach to design and design management while working with small and large brands including Martha Stewart, Better Homes and Gardens, Food Network, Bobby Flay, Kohl's Private Brands and more.  

Martha Beckman works with brands and retailers in the fields of industrial design, apparel, editorial and merchandising.

Martha comes from a family with roots in design, art, craft, architecture, engineering & entrepreneurship. She grew up in Providence, Rhode Island and graduated from RISD (ID 2001). She moved to New York and worked with formative outfits including Muppets, Nest Magazine, Steven Alan, Moss. In 2004 she took a full time position at Martha Stewart Living designing a 7K SKU per year collection for KMart exploring handcraft for the mass market — leading to work managing design teams for influential brands at high-end and mass-market retailers with repeated proven success.
